What’s new in Midway.

Midway now fits marketplaces and directories, where members contact someone from their profile or listing page.

• One-on-one chat from profile pages: the inbox opens a conversation with the person whose page you’re on. Turn it on from the General tab and copy the ready-made snippet from the Embed tab.
• Chat requests are now a setting. Leave them on, or turn them off so members can message each other straight away. You can also hide the Members tab, so people only reach each other from profile pages.
• Confirm a deal (Studio): one person sends it, the other accepts, and only then are their contact details shared. You choose whether either person can send it or only the one who was messaged. Each step shows up as a line in the chat, so the other person is notified. Until then, phone numbers, emails, and WhatsApp links typed into the chat are hidden.
• The pricing page now shows the member limit on each plan.

• Sync your Memberstack roster daily, weekly, or monthly, at a time you pick in your own timezone.
• Dashboard accounts now verify their email before first use.
